The Role:

We’re looking for a Creative Strategist to lead the creative strategy for both our agency and our clients. This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration. You’ll be responsible for shaping the creative direction for brands and projects, inspiring teams, and ensuring that creative executions align with business goals.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead creative strategy for both our agency and our clients.
  • Participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, and research to uncover insights and define creative approaches.
  • Develop strategic creative plans in collaboration with the other Willow team strategists.
  • Engage and collaborate with a team of creative talent (designers, writers, videographers, developers, media specialists, and creative partners) to bring strategies to life.
  • Present creative rationale and strategies to clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Recommend the best creative tactics and executions to achieve client objectives.
  • Ability to tell the client’s story no matter how simple or complex it might be using emotion, humor, data, and facts to get their point across and make the impact necessary to achieve results.
  • Balance thinking and doing—providing strategic direction while also rolling up your sleeves to execute when needed.
  • Help continue to expand our pool of creative talent, and resources available to us
  • Inspire and motivate both our internal team and external creative partners.
  • Stay ahead of creative trends and innovations to keep our work fresh and impactful.

  • Experience in branding, marketing campaigns, and a variety of creative tactics (design, copywriting, video, digital media, web, etc.).

  • An individual who takes pride in building the best team of individuals together for the work, whether that be in-house talent or strategic partners.
  • Strong presentation skills—able to articulate creative concepts with clarity and persuasion.
  • Ability to inspire and direct creative teams while also contributing hands-on.
  • A keen understanding of how creative strategy aligns with business and marketing goals.
  • Experience working in an agency environment, leading creative strategy efforts.
