Weight Watchers has Oprah, Progressive has Flo, Allstate has Mr. Mayhem—but if you are selling tarp systems for trucks and trailers, who do you have?
The answer’s so obvious I wonder why we didn’t think of it sooner. On one hand you have the fantastic Aero products that save money and increase efficiency, and on the other hand, you have the harsh and hazardous road and weather conditions in which these vehicles and drivers work.
When we recently unveiled Aero Industries’ new marketing campaign, the imagery of dusty roads, crowded highways and construction sites which we employed, became our product spokesperson. This imagery illustrates to our audience: “we get it”. Life on the road isn’t easy—the hours suck, the work is physical and you don’t get paid until the last load is delivered.
The Aero products featured in these ads are positioned as the driver’s reliable partner to ease the load and remove the struggle from their day—to make work and life a little easier. We convey that Aero provides rugged, reliable, innovative products that perform day in and day out, just like them.
The look and feel of this new ad campaign for Aero expanded to some of their trade show marketing materials. If you don’t subscribe to Trailer Talk or Fleet Owners News, or plan on attending Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., March 31-April 2 to see the big rigs, luckily, you can view some of the campaign below:
